A dog was brought to the animal shelter wearing a collar and a tag with only a name "Lucy." She was an older dog and not very pretty.
One day a woman came to the shelter looking for an older dog to adopt.
The shelter staff showed her to Lucy. The woman immediately saw something special in Lucy. Just not everyone could see it.
And this is the story of Something About Lucy by Cathy Moss.
Cathy Moss grew up in Richmond, Virginia. Since childhood animal welfare and rescue have been an integral part of Ms. Moss' life. She now resides in Pass Christian, Mississippi with three dogs, three cats and has four horses and her donkey girls, Charlotte and Isabella.
